The hotel was beautifully maintained and had a bathtub. The location was ideal, at a medium distance from Davies Symphony Hall.

Generally, the place was upscale and had service-oriented and customer-focused staff on Reception Desk. We booked tastefully decorated rooms with 2 full size beds, a great view, as for instance. The location was incredibly comfortable and easy for walking around Asian Art Museum. There was a beautiful restaurant a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel😃

I loved the hotel, it was upgraded with free wi-fi. The venue was in an easy location right by Market st and San Francisco and BART subway.

It's a historic, beautiful, Victorian building, they'd have to upgrade it to the 21st century. room is comfortable. It has a desk, safe, coffee maker and cable TV. We were in a room for people with reduced mobility, well adapted. WIFI is very good and free. It is located in downtown San Francisco, on Market Street, close to the Civic Center, Orpheum Theatre. In front of the hotel there are several places for breakfast, lunch or early dinner. Inside the hotel there is a Starbucks. My reservation did not include breakfast.
The front desk staff is a mess, they don't speak Spanish but they are not interested in communicating with the client either, they are inefficient and borderline rude. The exception is Olga, with whom, despite not speaking Spanish, we understood each other perfectly in English, as did the gentleman we checked out with, both of whom were very attentive and friendly. Excellent the lady of the tour desk who advised us very well, with a lot of kindness. The cleaning, maintenance and luggage staff were very good. The room is very comfortable and perfectly adapted but it stayed in the last century. It didn't have enough outlets. When we were able to move into the room, because of the inefficiency of the front desk staff, they gave us a room that was not adapted and then they changed us, we had to ask them to bring the coffee machine, the fridge, to fix the outlets and a lamp that did not work.

The historic nature of the hotel. Its close proximity to the shops. Some staff extremely helpful some rather churlish.
Its location attracts a lot of poor/homeless people. Some of whom have obvious mental health needs. Some rooms are in need of refurbishment.
